Hi there! My name is Michelle, I have worked in Early Childhood for 12+ years. I have my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Framingham State University and Master’s in School Counseling. Everything I have done has revolved around children in some capacity.
As a mother-of-two, I have an even better understanding of how important it is for community and safe spaces for children and their families. This is where Bear’s Play Space came from and why I decided to pursue this mission and vision. I have seen a gap in the Worcester area for events and spaces that are geared towards children and families, that are also affordable. I have craved community during this time of mother-hood that has been hard to find. My hope is that Bear’s Play Space can help to fill that void for families in the Worcester area. I hope to meet you and your little one soon!
We work with children ages 0-5 and families from the Worcester area. We seek to serve families who are low-middle income that are looking for safe, clean, and affordable enrichment activities and events for their children.
Through our generosity projects and funding, we aim to make our classes and events as affordable as possible for our families. This allows for families to engage in an activity together that fosters caregiver connections, learning opportunities, and new skills in a safe environment that is meant just for kids!
We are registered with the state of Massachusetts as a Non-Profit and hold our 5013(c) tax exempt status. If you or your business are looking to help sponsor an event or help towards our fundraising goals, please email us at: bearsplayspace@gmail.com
